Vera Begeake is the Women’s Empowerment Program Coordinator at WIHD. She leverages her expertise in psychology to design and implement programs that uplift and empower women in WIHD's Mental Health initiatives. She assists in the development of programs that promote mental health, personal growth, and resilience, tailored to the unique needs of each participant.
Vera also leads our team of facilitators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are well-equipped to make a meaningful impact. She creates safe, welcoming spaces where women feel heard, valued, and supported in sharing their experiences. By connecting participants with resources and opportunities, she is able to help women develop confidence, build skills, and access pathways for personal and professional advancement.
