Bella Yannick

Field Engineer

Bella Yannick is a professional with extensive experience in engineering and construction management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and has specialized knowledge in infrastructure development, project management, and construction. Yannick joined WIHD at the inception of the project in Nsimalen, bringing his expertise to address construction demands within the organization. He plays a key role in overseeing construction projects and infrastructure development initiatives and provides technical expertise and guidance on all construction structural design, implementation and engineering best practices. He conducts site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses to inform project planning and implementation 

Yannick also actively participates in field operations, leading the construction team to develop new project designs, addressing challenges, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. His hands-on approach and leadership help streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation on all construction sites. Yannick values community input and strives to incorporate local knowledge and preferences into all project designs and implementation strategies by engaging with local community members to solicit feedback, address concerns, and promote community participation.

Outside of his role at WIHD, when he's not working full-time, you'll find him actively involved in farming activities with his wife and two kids, managing other business ventures, or enjoying leisure activities like playing football.
